Cultural Diversity Day 2024 - FRIDAY 24 MAY

 

Tuesday 21 May 2024 is Cultural Diversity Day and, as the day was so popular last year amongst our pupils and staff, Wandle will be celebrating it again on Friday 24 May 2024.

 

All pupils and staff are asked to wear traditional wear or the colours of their flag.  As a contribution, we are asking that the pupils bring food and/or drink specifically from their culture so that, as a school, we can expand our cultural cuisines.  However, due to allergies, please avoid nuts.

 

There will be a variety of activities for the pupils linked to their culture and heritage, to include flags, special dishes, history etc.

 

We hope that it will be a really fun day for all involved and that we can also learn a lot about each other and our cultures.
