Strike Day Home Learning
Here at Wandle Valley Academy we are using ‘Google Classroom’ to support pupils with home learning. This has similar features to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It allows teachers to host video and audio calls, share documents, set and mark assignments when necessary and was an amazingly successful tool throughout the Covid-19 lockdown.
All teachers work hard to ensure they set work that is designed to follow the usual curriculum. Parents/Carers and pupils take responsibility for accessing the work safely.
Staff, parents/carers and pupils must ensure that Code of Conduct is followed, as found within the Remote Learning Policy.
